K&L Gates Seattle Managing Partner, Diversity Committee Chairwoman to Be Honored Among Region’s Women of Influence

Seattle - Seattle-area business news outlet Puget Sound Business Journal (PSBJ) will recognize Pallavi Mehta Wahi, managing partner of K&L Gates’ Seattle office and chairwoman of the firm’s diversity committee, among the region’s most influential women leaders during their Women of Influence Awards event taking place Thursday, November 15, 2018. A video profile of Wahi has been posted to the PSBJ website in advance of this year’s awards program, which annually honors women within the business community who are driving growth, innovation, and the economy in the Puget Sound area. This year’s class includes 20 women leaders from organizations such as Starbucks, YWCA, and the University of Washington, among others.

Wahi concentrates her practice at K&L Gates on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on corporate and intellectual property disputes. She also serves as co-chair of the firm’s India practice, and is a dynamic leader in Washington state legal and local communities. Wahi currently serves on the boards of several organizations, including the King County Bar Foundation; the Washington Council on International Trade; Global Business Law Institute at the University of Washington School of Law; and the Woodland Park Zoo, as well as on the advisory board of the South Asian Bar Association of Washington, where she was the group’s first woman president.

Wahi was also recently identified as one of the Top 100 influential lawyers in the United States by The Business Journals and among the first-ever group of 40 Under 40 All-Stars by the PSBJ.
