Washington, D.C. - Real estate and investment news outlet Opportunity Zone Magazine has named K&L Gates Washington, D.C., real estate partner Olivia Byrne as one of the Top 25 Opportunity Zone (OZ) Influencers for 2020 and one of the top OZ lawyers in the United States, for a second consecutive year. This annual tribute recognizes the industry’s leading and most influential OZ professionals in five categories: attorneys, fund managers/developers, tax specialists, policy influencers, and professionals in specialized fields. Candidates were evaluated based on their vision, influence, and industry experience.

She is also a leading member of the firm’s U.S. economic incentives subpractice within the real estate and public finance practice groups. She has successfully obtained economic incentives for OZ and other clients on a national basis and has extensive experience drafting legislation for financial incentives and tax-related issues. Her career spans more than two decades, during which she has represented clients in real estate projects for mixed-use, office, restaurant, retail, residential, hotel, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution centers, fulfillment centers, data centers, and sports arenas and stadiums.
