13 February 2017

Boston - Global law firm K&L Gates LLP again has been ranked among the 10 leading law firm brands in the United States, according to Acritas’ U.S. Law Firm Brand Index 2017 released today. Now in its sixth year, the index has recognized K&L Gates as one of the top 10 U.S. law firm brands for the past three years, with the firm having been included on the U.S. index since the report’s inception in 2012 and also recognized among the top 20 global law firm brands in Acritas’ 2016 Global Elite Brand Index this past September.

Based on unprompted responses from senior counsel and decision makers at U.S. companies and abroad, the U.S. Law Firm Brand Index ranks law firms on areas that include top-of-mind awareness; favorability; consideration of firms for top-level litigation and major M&A matters; and overall level of use.

“It is an honor in today’s highly competitive global environment to have clients identify K&L Gates — by name and in an unprompted fashion — as one of their most favored and trusted law firms,” stated K&L Gates’ Chief Marketing Officer Jeffrey J. Berardi. “We are delighted that the work of our lawyers and staff has again been recognized in this manner, and we look forward to continuing to provide our clients throughout the U.S. and around the world with the unsurpassed service and universal experience that is consistently associated with the K&L Gates brand.”

In addition to the firm’s recognitions from Acritas, K&L Gates also has been identified as one of the world’s leading law firm brands by the BTI Consulting Group, who ranked K&L Gates 11th — marking the firm’s third straight year of advancement — in their 2016 BTI Brand Elite: Client Perceptions of the Best-Branded Law Firms. For five consecutive years, BTI also has ranked K&L Gates as one of the top 30 firms for superior client service in their BTI Client Service A-Team report, with the firm ranking in the upper half of the “Client Service 30” for the past three years.
