K&L Gates Advises Global Infrastructure Partners on Paine Field Passenger Terminal Investment

24 October 2019
A team of K&L Gates lawyers recently represented Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a leading, independent global infrastructure investment firm, on its investment in Propeller Airport’s Paine Field Passenger Terminal in Everett, Washington. With more than $51 billion under management for its investors, GIP is managing this particular investment on behalf of its limited partner Washington State Investment Board, an institutional investor that oversees investments for retirement plans benefiting many of Washington State’s public sector employees, including teachers, law enforcement officers, firefighters, and judges.

The K&L Gates team that represented GIP on the investment was led by partner Liz Thomas and associate Joseph Phelps, with support from associate Greyson Blue; of counsel Ken Gish; government affairs advisor Rod Hall (Washington, D.C.); partners Scott McJannet, Margaret Niles, Charles Purcell, and Chuck Royce; of counsel Catherine Smith (all from the firm’s Seattle office except where otherwise noted), and many others.

K&L Gates is a fully integrated global law firm with lawyers located across five continents. The firm represents leading multinational corporations, growth and middle-market companies, capital markets participants and entrepreneurs in every major industry group as well as public sector entities, educational institutions, philanthropic organizations and individuals.
