The Royal Commission into misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry has created significant turbulence in the financial sector.

Proceedings at the Royal Commission have already identified a number of issues which may require regulatory reform including:

  • changes to the remuneration structures and responsibilities of mortgage brokers
  • changes to the licensing requirements for financial advisers
  • tackling systemic conflicts
  • widening of the scope of the BEAR regime
  • enhancements to the governance arrangements for superannuation funds

Join Jim Bulling and Daniel Knight as they review what the Regulators have already said in response to the Royal Commission and what are the likely regulatory trends which may emerge.

Breakfast will be provided. Click here to RSVP.
